This system connects directly to the tank.
A 12 V fan sucks in the gases, sends them to an activated carbon odor filter, and then sends them outside the vehicle.

The SOG toilet ventilation system can be retrofitted to
every Thetford cassette.
The system eliminates the need for chemical agents.
Optimal decomposition is ensured - at the same time, any
unpleasant odors are prevented, even during use!

The fan is automatically activated as soon as the toilet flap is opened and is deactivated when the flap is closed.
The effect that no odors can escape from the tank is achieved in the following way:
When the fan motor is activated, a vacuum is created in the waste water tank, which causes fresh air to be sucked in through the flap opening.
The inflow of fresh air acts as a shut-off valve and prevents gases (= odors) from rising.
The fresh air also sucks in new gases that have formed in the toilet bowl.
This means that even during use, no unpleasant odors are noticeable.
The process of decomposition of faeces and toilet paper is accelerated to such an extent by the increased oxygen supply that the addition of chemical additives is unnecessary.
Normal toilet paper should be used, not special paper, because the former is completely decomposed.
The fan motor was specially developed for extracting gases.
With 0.43 watts, the power consumption is very low.
